Sean FarrellSean Farrell studied music at the University of York and the Royal Academy of Music, London. He was for ten years heavily involved in Cathedral Music, holding the posts of Assistant Organist at Wakefield, Ely and Rochester Cathedrals. During this time he has been a champion of the Cathedral Girls Choir movement, founding the Wakefield Girls Choir in 1992, and bringing the Girls Choir of Rochester Cathedral to greater national, and subsequently international prominence through a series of recordings, broadcasts and concert tours, culminating in a royal command performance for the Queen of Denmark in July this year.

Sean has studied the organ with Christopher Bowers-Broadbent, Nicholas Danby and Naji Hakim and remains an active organ recitalist. He has played in many of the great cathedrals and churches in England as well as making numerous appearances across Europe and the USA. He is also in demand as an accompanist and choral conductor.

Sean joined the staff of Trinity College of Music, London in September 2001 and now combines the post of Director of Music at the Old Royal Naval College Chapel with that of Director of Performance Studies at Trinity.

As Lantern Productions Managing Director, Sean is responsible for administration, marketing, ''project'' planning as well as the initiation and making of all recordings. Sean excels in ''producing'' being the producer on nearly all recordings to date, a skill he wishes to expand, and the part of his role he enjoys the most.
